我們都很熟悉的一個(gè)詞--“跟風(fēng)”，你知道用英語該怎么說嗎？

有人可能會(huì)說，跟的英文是followe，風(fēng)的英文是wind，那連起來不就是follow the wind嗎？

但“跟風(fēng)”的意思可并不是簡單的“跟隨著風(fēng)”，因此當(dāng)然也不能說follow the wind。

“跟風(fēng)”的實(shí)際意思是學(xué)習(xí)、跟隨一種風(fēng)尚或潮流，因此準(zhǔn)確的表達(dá)應(yīng)該是jump on the bandwagon。

例：I always told my children not to jump on the bandwagon in fashion.

我常告訴孩子不必在服裝上跟風(fēng)。

此外，它還可以表示另外一種意思，就是“搭上…的快車，隨大流”。

例：As more businesses jump on the GREEN bandwagon, salespeople will be asked to carry this message to customers and prospects.

隨著越來越多企業(yè)跳上綠色環(huán)保這趟快車，銷售員會(huì)被要求向客戶和潛在客戶傳達(dá)企業(yè)的環(huán)保信息。
